COLD WEATHER POLICY

- Outdoor Weather Policy
- Use the City’s policy in regards to public parks
- 5 degrees F there is no risk of frostbite
- -18 degrees F there is risk of exposed frostbite
- Temperature of 0 with a wind chill of -25 degrees F is too cold
- Proposed provide an official thermometer at each rink, possibly one with WiFi
- Games and practices will be called off if the following conditions are met at the location of the rink:
- 5 degrees below 0 temperature and no windchill
- 10 degrees below 0 temperature with the windchill
